It took just over a year, working on it off and on, but last night I got the 8th shawl, and there's no way I would've made it without this community. I don't think I've ever posted here before, at least I can't remember ever doing so, but I've spent countless hours using the trivial lists from this site and gathering priceless information and tips from these forums.

With the knowledge gained here, I was able to avoid painful mistakes and huge set-backs, and I'll forever be grateful to those who took the time to share what they know. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all for my shawl, I think I'm the happiest druid on Povar right now

Kidding, do NOT invoke the wrath of the mods. They have all the teeth they need, they just don't like using them. Which is why they are the mods and not me. I have a lifetime supply of toothpicks and an itch to use them. Back in the OLD days (1994-ish) my favorite command as a MUD-Admin was /siteban user permanent. (Also known as the "everyone is entitled to MY opinion" command.)
