That's altered right? I was thinking the otherday of what would happen if I did an AE stun in PoK... but I was pretty sure I'd be ok as the whole zone seems to be no combat. (I accidentally turned on auto-attack shortly after the release of PoP and nothing happened to me.)
I'm sure there would be a list kept of who got to kill him next otherwise.In My (Not Always) Humble Opinion, except where I quote someone. If I don't know I say so.
I suck at this game, your mileage WILL vary. My path is probably NON-optimal.

Otherwise a while ago dispell was landing on PoK/PoT NPCs and you could aggro them and train them around and with a nice damageshield you could even kill them. People of course tried to kill the epic holding NPCs in the library to see if they drop real epics. They were droping none/none no stat weps like the one on the screenshot.Comment

Apparently, the PoK 'no attack' tag was removed on Test yesterday by a Dev so some deep voodoo programming could be done...and they forgot to put it back on afterwards.Originally posted by Itek

Turning off "allow_combat" and turning it back on should be fairly easy. But I can't think of why you would need or want to enable combat in PoK. *sigh*
Hehe, killing epic holders to loot epics... back in the OLD days when I first started I played a monk. And the monk sash/headband quests were seriously broken. So the "easy" way to get your top quest item... kill the Monk Guildmaster. Bahhaahaha....
Hmm.... but come to think of it if there were a way to smack someone around and take their epic... would be a lot faster... Yah, a dev accidently left it on...
It ended up being a real pain because we did Saryrn later that evening.. and you need to talk to the Grand librarian afterwards... but he got trained around the zone and when he wandered back, he got stuck out on the ledge outside the library tower along with the respawned Aid Grimel!
Fortunately our one and only fabulous Guide, Loviane, helped us out by moving them back. =)
