  • How the heck did this happen????

Oh my god! I logged onto EQ the other day and realized that something HORIFFIC happened!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I HAVE EMPTY BANK SLOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing is missing, in fact, I could make BOTH SHARED slots completely empty (2 empty bags!).

HOW DID IT COME TO THIS!! I must get back to filling those up!!!!!!!!!!

The hardest decision is WHAT should I fill it with??

I feel saddened by this, I don't feel like a true tradeskiller anymore.

Easiest way to fix this is to do some MTP subcombines. Little buggers seem to spawn themselves....

Foraging veggies scares me now...I still have 11 10-slot bags of MTP's to sell...=P

When I finshed Aid Grimel and basically gave up tradeskills becasue I was so burned out on them (and to think..all I had ever wanted was to be a GM Smith ) I went on an inventory clearance rampage. Somtimes I would just go back to the bank and stare at the 8 empty bags I had. Of course, the laws of empty spaces being what they are, I've maged to fill most of them again with all manner of things.

I love having a second account with 2 primary characters and *6* tradeskill mules. =) I can clear out the junk ive collected over a week in a matter of 30 mins. Wheee.
And eventually when one of my mules gets really full, ill combine all the stuff they have into useful/sellable stuff.

Speaking of picnics, what the heck is with the "swings" in the bazaar economy? For a long while, there'll be 2 sellers with picnics, prices 12-15pp each.

Now we've got 20 sellers with picnics, price is at 7-9pp and prolly gonna drop more before it goes up.

I got back into picnics when the swing went towards sickles...but now, only 8 sickles up for 2k each...so I guess I need to make sickles again for profit.

                Weird....

and omg, solstice robes...I feel sooo bad for anyone using them for skill ups these days...prices on The Rathe dipped down to 50-75pp EACH.

Just the normal "supply and demand" fluctuation. When there's a high supply, the sellers price it low so THEIR item gets bought. Once the price gets so low that their's barely any profit made, most people stop making them. Once the huge supply is bought up, the few suppliers left are free to raise their price again. At least, until other people notice that there's a profit to be made in them again, and the supply jumps up again.

I'm not much of an economist, as you can tell.

On Rodcet, robes are selling at 40pp, picnics at 5pp /sigh

Ah well, since I vendormined a few backpacks full of both, these prices are still more than it cost me

The only drawback is that I need more bank space again, all 8 of my characters' banks and inventories are packed solid.

If my computer could reliably support 2 boxing, I'd get a 2nd account

There's been a huge fluctuation of prices on Kane Bayle over the past minth, silk swatches went from 8PP (highest) to a low of 20PP each. i won't need mine for a long time and an afternoon in EK can get my supply up, I'm selling them all at the low.

Leather paddings, used to go 10-15PP each, now they're 30-50PP each, and since I'm not going to do smithing for quite a while, I'm selling them all at 35PP (and they're sellin)

This should drop a few K in my bank, plus morning dews have been inching up, I've foraged and bought (1-4PP each) about 3 stacks, and I'm keeping them at 15PP each.

HQ Lion skins - I looted one the other day, they used to sit on a trader for 500, I saw none, so I put it up for 1250, it sold quickly (I should have asked 1500!).

I've seen them go for 3k+ and the quivers I've personally sold for 4500.

Yeah, I'd be pricing the HQ lions much higher than 1250 (3k sounds good to me - but then I'd make a quiver and then sell that)...I figure on something like that start high, real high and then come down slowly.

My first HQ lion skin I found on a merchant for a few silver, sold it in 5 minutes for 150 (dummy). Stocked up a couple in the bank, I got another, sold it at the market rate of 1K, and I haven't seen any in a while so I put it at 1250, I should have asked 1500-2K.
