why not revamp older "original content" zones visually to use the better models and texture options etc to keep those artist people busy while coders are fixing all the problems with the code till all known issues are resolved then move on to new content.

/agree Sodorfo. Fix what you've done before going further.


My problem is, I have no intention of buying Omens of War. I've lasted this long with no Gates and no LDoN. LDon is not a race I want to run, and when I reach 58, I plan on buying it for one account of my two accounts, solely so I can group with a really small handful of friends.

But... I won't be level 70. And the raiding guilds will suddenly say, 'oh, you're only 65 (whenever the hell I get THAT far), we don't want you.' And thus.... I may as well just get 65, get my Shawl, cast some extended keis, and cancel my accounts. And go play FF11 with my boyfriend. If I am repeatedly shown I can't do what I want (the case right now being, get the point where i can join what i consider an 'uber raiding guild'), why spend money? EQ has become about friends for me (my sudden obsession with raiding is more of a last-ditch effort to /stay/ interested in EQ); yet my roommate is drifting away, my BF despises EQ (yes, he gave it a good shot), my circle of friends is dwindling, SOE won't even let me pay to get my baby out of a hell I didn't know I was getting into. I may as well buy groceries with my $24/month.


They extend the line to keep the people who are currently at the end of the line from quitting, without exactly seeing that those people are leaving /anyway/, and moreover that their actions are causing them to lose people who are still somewhere along the line.


And FF11 has pretty graphics all the way through, as my BF likes to remind me.
