  • Amusing inventory totals.

So, I downloaded Magelo Update, and got text versions of all of the items that Noishpa, Smalltim, and my Storage Mule are storing. Turns out vendor mining is productive. Totalled up a few numbers.

I have 508 Steel Ball bearings.
    I have 393 Coiled Springs.
I have 147 Innovative Gears, to go with 119 Innovative Bolts. (I've stopped buying these. Only 40 Clockwork grease :-( )
I have 122 Silver tipped Quills, 56 Waterlogged Rigging, and 27 Maneater Roots. (Never thought to try for the Scorpion Glands. Poo)
I have 120 Dressing, either vendor mined, or made from vendor mined Veggie Oil. (On Further inspection, I have 80 Vendor mined Veggie Oil left, too. *sigh*)
I have 190 Goblin Bones. 40 Gargoyle Granite, 48 Sand Verbena. 10 Ice lichen, and 0 Pondweed.
I have 75 CE, on Smalltim, that I'd vendor mined and forgotten about.
I, apparently, have 13 Holgresh wings that I've mined, and will be making Clockwork Greaves, apparently. (3 Haze Panther Eyes, too. Woot)
I have 97 Hero Sandwiches, most of which came from Looted parts, not vendor mining.
I have my beloved Bristlebane's Party Platter on Noish, safe in my bank where Pie stained hands can't get to it. It's my PoP-Trophy.

Also have more Dye Components than you can shake a stick or 12 at.

All three characters have small pieces of acrylia and velium scattered about them.

Noishpa, apparently, is carrying 33 Acrylia Bits that he'd forgotten about.

I also have two prayer shawls (7 and 3, on Noish and Smalltim, respectively).

What a fun exercise this was. (Note, I will be using 99.999% of this to skill Tinkering up to 250, and Smithing to got knows what. So don't ask, please.)

I am too scared to do this.....

What i can say is i have about 400+ Wyvern Hides total...
and about 70 velium studs, and 50 cod oils.

I see a lot of Velium farming and even more fishing in my future!

The most annoying is finding stacks of supplies on dusty old mules, that i have already passed the triv for!

Speaking of, it still shows you at level 49. Which I suppose is better than the level 47 in your signature.

-- Patty Melts - 179 left, been eating on them since Feb

Very informative, that: the cursed clovers are on three chars, the casserole dish skeches are on two. The tinkering stuff, despite my attempt to put it on one char, is spread over three (one being Crayons who is still in PC and won't come to a bank for a few lvls : p ).

Did I mention that the shared bank is one of the two most glorious things they've implimented since Loy? (the other being /autoinventory; LOVE that command.)

            Fun times.

I've been checking inventory this way for awhile now, to help my gnome get tinker skill ups. One thing I have found very useful, and I would imagine would be even more useful if you are doing many chars at the same time, is to utilize Excel. You can cut and paste items into the spreadsheet and then datasort them. You can do separate columns for each char and then it should be much easier to combine... or add char names after the items before putting them into the spreadsheet and then list them all together and datasort. I usually do a datafind search to delete the annoying stuff prior to the inventory items in the text file, then plug them in. Hope that helps

I should do this with my guild's tradeskill bank mule....so y'all can /droool.

But I don't really need to do this since 1) I'm done skilling, so save very little and 2) I keep my mules pretty organized. Tho in my heyday of saving everything to make stuff, I did mentally loose a bag of diamonds, blue diamonds, star rubies, etc....back when they were super expensive in the bazaar. I thought I was gonna have a heartattack.

                ***
In other news, if you're like me (i.e., 1750 and done) and save veggies to "someday make some picnics to sell in the bazaar", DON'T LET THEM BUILD UP TOO MUCH BEFORE YOU DO.

I had about 8 stacks of veggies on a mule. Saturday, after our raid, I think I made picnics for, oh about SIX HOURS and made approximately ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY STACKS of picnics.

                It was insane.

                I'm never foraging again.

The cupcake is DONE! 1750!!! And 7 Trophies! And a fishing pole! That summons beer! Woo! And Tarteene, the enchanting gnomish tinkerer of the 247th bolt and one neato Tinkering Trophy

Lunatic is a better description. But again I use excel to parse my raid logs so who am I to judge

One of my characters turned into a storage mule for my hubby. She has something like eight stacks of silk swatches (and he's finished with silks in tailoring I think) and more like 15 stacks of leather padding. He's past fine plate, but isn't high enough to do dwarf cultural convincingly, since I think he's at or just over 200. Oh, and that goes with the seven stacks or so of Earthen Tempers.

On the other hand, I could just not remind him and end up with a nice shiny new weapon with the money.

at one point I had a mule full of silk swatches. that was expensive, but it was so much fun to look at 26 bags x 10 slot x 20 swatches per slot of silks unfortanatelly the 10k swatches I had only turned into about 20-25 skillups.

Well, my computer is down hard for 24 hours, due to a bad processor fan.

But I realized, while I was out today that I forgot to mention my 210 Silk Swatches, and varied Spiderling and Spider Silk across the 3 characters.

And that's also not touching my research (new Research Only) mule, who I also save the inventory/bank for. 45 different types of New Enchanter pages, 20+ Types of new runes, 20+ Types of new words, and One (or more) of every new mage item.

I can never find mass items on merchants , I think the most I've found was a stack of silk swatches and silk threads on a merchant lol. (Who sells swatches to a merchant!? crazies!) I've picked up about 10 blue diamonds in all. I did however find TWO air arachnid silks(K, that's the real crazy!) on a merchant , and a trader selling demi lich for 300p . I guess my luck is finding cheap valubles rather than mass tradeskills
