        Well if some of the combine workers were druids or wizards we could save some platinum on delivery as they'd be unlikely to charge themselves. This alone increases the pure profit. Of course if it turns out that by steel they mean the human cultural we could expect costs to get higher due to having to hire such specialized workers. I'd ask them to confirm that it's really plain steel they want. Obviously if they want immaculate or other difficult to obtain variants the price would have to be higher.

          Actually, High Quality Ore can be worked even by the common Half Elven Smiths... witness the folding of sheets required in making Gothic Steel, for example.

          I am gratified that they did not request Enchanted metal of any type though... those dranned Enchanters charge Flat Rate plus Scale!

            this would be in line with someone ordering 200 feet of 1 inch chain... thinking thats the link length, not the diameter of the metal making the link....
