Lore Tradeskill items suck!

I was walking through the nexus, and I see someone /oocing for a tailor to combine his rallic pack for him. Now I am a good little tradeskill doobie and always carry around my large sewing kit, so I volunteer to help.

I get the ingrediants, group up so he can see the results, and combine it. At this point I start wondering why the result didn't appear on my cursor, and look down to see the words of doom: "Duplicate Lore items not allowed". DOH! ops: I realize that I already have a Rallic pack of my own, his just poofed as I made it. At the same time, he is wooting, since he saw that I succeeded.

I gave him my pack because it was my fault, and he never even knew what happened. Sucks to be me.

Especially since that is a no fail combine, he could have done it himself!

Ouch - that sucks - but it's needed to atleast somewhat slow down the d00d farmer types.

Well the good news is that I got on Christmas morning, ran to Tenebrous Mountains, and on my way there the server went down. When it came back up, I finished the run, zoned in, and the grimling runner was waiting for me since he had spawned on serverup.

I went on to finish my 3rd shawl, and get several pieces for the other shawls/rings. Spent time with my family during the day, got decent loot, later that night got back on and dinged 50.

Not bad overall.

Completely understand. Dang collapsible containers. Tough to keep in stock as they're lore as well. Bleh.
