Signet of the Arcane, I lub you! Finished the quest today and just can't stop showing it off. I can't believe that I made the tailored undergarment on the first try (I guess that all the farming and skillup failures paid off).
I was terrified to attempt the bow combine, because the recipe doesn't say that the signet is returned on failure, just the planing tool. When I failed the bow, my heart sank, until I put the planing tool in the kit and there was the signet on my cursor. Whew! My second bow succeeded, and the party platters were anticlimactic (two success for three combines).
Well, not totally. I gathered the materials for three attempts and failed the first one. I was annoyed, because I thought it meant I would need to gather more stuff to make the third platter. Then when the second one succeeded and it had a yield of 2, I was saved! The third combine succeeded and I had an extra platter rather than one short.
Anyway, Now I need to finish off tailoring (even though the motivation isn't there atm), and then I am free and clear to just goof around with tradeskills in GoD. I hope there are some good ones!
