Im at that point (minus the tinkering - creating a gnome would be sacrilige)

I've already killed the sleeper. I guess getting into time is next but still their isn't that much more

oh and ive already done the faction thing. Way back before velious i was able to walk freely into felwithe and kelethin while still not being kos to indigo brotherhood. as well as walk into all 3 cities on kunark at once. Used to be called the faction master :P

Roll up a troll (any class/religion will do, but an SK of Inny should be the hardest) and get him full faction with wood elves, high elves and dwarves - that'll keep you ranting and screaming for months.

The important thing is to not twink him or take advantage of any of the tricks you know for getting loot and XP - unless you want to bang out his newby quests, you aren't permitted to do anything that wouldn't be a cash opportunity in GF - otherwise, all XP and what not should be done as if you were a real newby woodelf.

No more EQ for me till they fix the crash bug.

I hear this a lot, people jaded after killing in Time. What's the point after you've killed Quarm? seems to be a common refrain =/ think I'm glad I'm not anywhere near that point yet.

VP and VT...yeah, but what would the point? And I am TIme enabled. =)
VP might be interesting to see, NToV was a fun zone to be in, so it's predicessor might be. But who in there right mind that is even elementally flagged, more or less time flagged want to do VT? Have you been to that zone?

Here is a hint: picture 3 rooms and 2 hallways, mix and match, mix and match some more.

Now add 4 different looking mobs, dozens of them, now just clear and clear and clear. then you get a coh mage so you can bi pass most of the clearing

Finally we are at a boss fight. Rangers get your game pads if the mob isn't walled, melee, pull up the web version of the NY Times you going to be there for a while.

Silence, annoying, no threat, grav flux /yawn.

VT the most boring raid in the game until Xenogy. No one goes to VT for fun, it is about the loot, and surviving the mind numbing dulldrums to get it.

By the time you are in time there is elemental and time gear. all but a very few pieces (AHR, mini aten) can compete with these.

Nothing is there that would make a Time flagged guild want to go back to ME to reflag the 40+% of your guild that is not keyed.

That is assuming they can get people Emp parts without having to FFA some guild killing emp for loot.

Think between an LDoN raid, VT and working on a twink, I would pick the twink. (And no I don't have a luclin era bp yet, just a BPoE and vindi both won on rolls on "I am bored out of my gord mporp raids)

              I'm SO boggled by this

Chenier, I beg you not to get me wrong...I'm truly knocked out by what you've done...but when did you have the staggering amount of time it takes to do even a small part of it? This post tells me of a life of unstinting Everquest...nearly 24/7. How did you feed yourself, pay your bills, sit in doctor's offices, have the maintenence on the car done, see your family? So many posters here are so dedicated and hardworking and consumed by leveling and skilling up and GMing and building unbelievable factions and covering the entire EQ world, I can't understand how anybody has a life away from the room the computer is in. How do you do it. I'm envious as all get out.

I'm not trying to be all uber or jaded. The gear is simply better and there's less competition on my server for raid times. Which makes more sense to you?

You like time sinks? Go farm shards...I'd rather not.

On and off four a couple of years and then good steady raiding guild gets you this. I took 6 months off this year as well...I'm actually one of the more casual players in the guild. And my guild is certainly not the hardest core on the server...

I have a 57 ranger would could use someone to play with him while my RL keeps me down to an hour in the morning, etc.

He could sure use some "cupcaking" if you are really bored.

                  ;-)

Build the arc, put 2 of every mob on it and wait 40 days and 40 nights. GoD should be out by then.
