Didn't have anywhere else to scream this and I figure there's gotta be atleast a couple of tradeskillers who appreciate a fine cigar as well - if not, sorry.
Some yahoo descided to make the state of DE into a non-smoking zone. OK, fair enough, if the resteraunts, clubs and bars there don't want my business anymore, no problem.
But then I go to walk into one of my favorite tobaccoe shops and there I see on the door a sign which does not belong in a cigar shop -
Sorry, no smoking
What kinda @#$% idiot passes a law which makes it illegal for folks to smoke in a cigar shop???
It's not as though any customers are going to come in that either a) don't smoke or b) don't have friends/family who smoke.
And for those of you who've never been to a cigar store, I've yet to encounter one where all of the employees weren't smoking a cigar or pipe as well (excluding of course the ones with a store front to a non-smoking mall).
So now all of those big, cumfy chairs which the owner dropped atleast a grand or so on so that customers could hang out, enjoy thier tobaccoe and shoot the breeze with himself or others are pretty much useless unless he wants to hall them out front when it's actually pleasant enough to sit outside.
The pool table in the back room will now gather dust instead of cigar and pipe ash.
An entire social scene has been fubar'd thanks to some health **** who wants me to tollerate every stinking deviante, pervert, drug addict and wierdo, but who won't tollerate my stogie.
AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!
I'm heading to McDaniel's Smokes and Spirits in Halas - hopefully the barbarians are civilised enough to still allow folks to enjoy some good leaf.

) to moving to CA where you can't smoke inside anywhere. I for one don't mind. I was only a social smoker anyways and now that I can't smoke inside anywhere I don't feel the need to do it at all. (course I had pretty much stopped before I moved anyway) So anyway not sure if any of this makes sense as I have a cold and my head hurts and well I think I'll just stop typing now.
