I know I saw a thread here somewhere but.....
Last night at 16:41:29, my necro Zauberin finally reached the elusive 1450 club. I say elusive as in 'velium is elusive these days' because my last 4 points needed were in smithing.
I spent over 4 hours in Velks (I got Frenzied camp) and in that time I managed to get enough velium for 27 attempts of enchanted velium bits. I figured I had at least another 4 hours to go (assuming I got lucky and got 2 points from those attempts).
I fell out of my chair when I hit 200 on the last attempt. Hell, I was shocked when I got 199 <g>.
So 3 AAs banked and ready to take smithing up to the ranks of pottery and baking.
Sadly, smithing will be my bane as velium is needed for everything it seems. As a bonus though I got SCHW from Frenzied
although I would have preferred more velium 
Thanks to EQTraders and the other tradeskillers out there for helping make this possible. I probably would have given up long ago on smithing without this board.
