Yesterday i am standign around very bored with the pottery practice when someone asks for a brewer. "Hooraay" I think "A chance for some extra plat."
Already at the first combine I can see that it is the famous Shawl that is happening, and the person also asks me if I am any good at tailoring. So I happily tell him that all the combines for the shawl are trivial for me, and i also show him my own 7th shawl. (Havent done the encounters for the 8th one yet.)
I get a reply in style with "OMG, can you help me?" and I tell him "Sure."
So away we go, combine after combine. I am talking to some guildies and dont pay that much attention, really just recieve the items after hand and combine them when suddenly I see:
"Dual lore items are not allowed."
I just jerk up straight from my chair and let out a howling "Nooo" as I frantically click around my bags....no trace of any items needed to combine for the 7th shawl, no sighting of the 7th shawl either!!
So I petitioned about it..but it is the holidays...wont be a chance of a GM replying anywhere this side of reality.
I am hoping they will get back to me and in the end either hand the guy all the last combines..or the 7th shawl itself...at least I hope the logs show that he has handed me all the items needed..and I have handed him some of them back as well.
GAH!!! I know it was stupid of me not to clear which shawl I was combining, but most of you know the tunnel syndrome. Could they not, as a very minimum, put up a warning or allow the combine to "bounce back" to ingrediants??!! Not just go "Poof..."
