    I think the addition of a "Silver Ticket" prize would calm a lot of people.

    Gold Ticket prizes would still be the high-end things.

    Silver Ticket prizes would be the reward tokens that people used to get from special GM events. Remember those? You took the token to a "Realm of Heroes" (or something like that) NPC in your home-town and received a race-specific (often race/class-specific) item in return?

    I think it would be even better if the Gold and Silver Tickets were trade-able...

    Boy, imagine the wacky prices people would be asking!

      The gold ticket is tradeable. Soon after someone won... there was someone WTS best offer for ticket.

      We had 2 guildies give their ticket to the person looking for mask. Since anything else they got, they just gave it back to the original person, while the mask is nodrop.
