  • AAAAUGH! (Kicks the pottery wheel)

The wailings of a sad, sad little Halfling echo across New Tanaan. Again. At 216 pottery, I sought to do a favor for a friend, and build a Faithstone of Nature, knowing that I was flirting with failure. It took only three tries, and I thanked mighty Bristlebane and the RNG.

Next, with a flash of greed, I picked up my Vale essence to make myself one of the coveted stones, in honor of my god. This one took five tries.

I was still gleeful and set to build a faithstone for each of my guildmates and friends. Off to Erud's Crossing for Flounder fishing, to Butcherblock for Stonefish, and a long session of druid- and bard-harassment for speckled toadstools, and I had much fortune. Someone got word that I was building stones and asked me to make a Spiritstone of Gukta. I succeeded on the first try. I smiled. A Faithstone of Deep Musings came in three tries, a Faithstone of the Learned in four, a Faithstone of the Underfoot in five tries, and a Spiritstone of Khati Sha in six. All well and good, and then the Tribunal turned their collective eyes upon me.

Last night, my tears mixed with the failed remains of my 37th attempt at making a Spiritstone of Everfrost. Why, oh why me?

I suppose the cold of everfrost just hurts your fingers and make them shiver to much to suceed...

    Sorry about the troubles...

Oh, and look for some new nifty gloves to keep your fingers warm.

The Tribunal has judged thee. I would recommend donating all your plat to the first nakid barbarian you see walking out of Hallas tonight.

Of course, you could just goto the Halls of Judgement and open up a can-o-woopass on the Seventh Hammer and any other high-n-mighty that needs a whooping.

Sometimes, being an Ogre and worshiping a God of War can be a good thing. We can kick his steel plated behind and ear atta-boy points for being good fighters while doing it.

Beating your diety into the ground, the ultimate sacrament for a follower of the God of War.
