Electrified Copper & pathing of mobs in PoStorms

This is really driving me nuts. I do a bug report on it every couple of weeks but this has not been fixed for months.

Pathing bug: roaming mobs in PoStorms desert are stuck in walls and the large colums scattered down the middle area.

Mostly what makes me mad is that this is the only place to get Electirfied Copper to make Hurricane armor. Also this affects the alt flag for PoTactics, since the rock mobs are the Diaku's ph'ers. I know there are ways to get mobs out of walls, such as PBAE spells. However this seems pretty ridiculous, especially if you ever hunted here before the pathing bug. Not to mention it slows things way down.

Eventually my warrior will have all Ornate, but Hurricane Plate is pretty good for my Frog until that happens. It could help out others in my guild until they get better as well.

Anyways, the point of this post is to bring it to the attention of other tradeskillers. If you haven't done a /bug on it yet, please help out and do so. I figure it's not going to be addressed until more complain about it.

Now to gripe about this at the SOE boards.

They know, but thei reither lack the ability, or desire to fix this obviously broken segment of pathing.


I just finished the backdoor Entry quest,to tactics. And it was a pain.

While a lot of peopel say it is.. the desert giants aren't the only ones to drop copper. Did a bot flag farm last week, and did better on copper drops from ocean, and got a few from forest... mind you, with the number we got, it's hard to say one set is actually better than the other. The good news is, i can now use all the wind-worn stones i had!

If you want to farm copper, PETITION about the mobs being stuck when you log on! A Guide cannot come to PoStorms without a petition from a player. Once a guide has a petition from you, they have a reason to go there and can help you by/killing the mobs, thereby allowing them to repop normally so you can kill them before the eventually all find their way back into the pillars from their buggy pathing.

The Guides all know about the situation, it's just that they can't help you if you don't petition.

As long as people continue to buy their products they'll continue to see no need to fix glaring and consequential bugs such as this. I haven't bought LoY or LDoN, and will not buy the upcoming expansion they have slated for what, February? This has been due not to the pathing but in PoS alone, but many factors which amount to me feeling dissatisfied with EQ. I urge others to do the same if you're not happy with the product; money is the only language they speak and they will listen if their language is spoken..

Heh, the roamers in the desert part of the plane of storm drop bricks of electrified copper too?

The giants in the plane of storm used to be my favorite exp spot. I always avoided yard trash because the chain aggro usually got us killed. I'm pretty sure I still have over 100 bricks from the giants alone banked somewhere...
