You are suggesting a cartel, then? Note that under a cartel, buyers lose.

Here, I am informing a buyer that nobody is under any obligation to give him a price that he feels is fair.
No, no buyer is ever obligated to purchase at all... Of course if no buyers purchase, then merchants suffer absolute losses. Likewise, if everyone limits supply out of 'fairness to the merchants' then merchants will sell lower quantities, and some merchants who may have gotten some return (even if a loss) under a free market model will get nothing.

I was wondering if anyone would notice these two opinions. While they may seem, on the surface, a bit contradictory, they're both arguing the bazaar from a merchant's point of view. They're both a counter-argument to the "I feel that TraderA is making too much profit from ItemB".

Whether the buyer is complaining about it, or someone feels that they have the moral obligation to sell lower to "stop people from making too much profit", it's all the same argument.

They are both the same arguement, agreed, but that arguement is a straw man. Most merchants lowering their prices or setting lower prices up front are doing so to move product. This is a direct effect of an abundance of supply. Basic microeconomics....
