I put up an agi buff and made it first try. It wasn't by much but it was clearly the agi that tipped the scales. I am now a believer. I theorize that the reason encumbrance slows you is because it lowers your agi. It may be that the effect is more dramatic at lower levels of agi and therefore isn't very noticeable at higher levels. Or it may be that you never noticed because you never knew it was possible. Took me years to realize that sow doesn't affect swimming speed.

I've never seen any statistical data or statement from the Powers That Be demonstrating anything either way, but my own experience has me convinced enough.
Can't explain your experience, but, it has been tested over a long straight stretch. With otherwise identical buffs, just differences in agility, movement speed is identical.

One thing a lot of experiments don't factor in is lag. I've seen more "proof" that lag (beit net or graphics) aversely affects runspeed (including autorun) then I have for agility.

On E-marr where I live, the economy is messed up too.

The two exploits listed were the (totally unfounded) hypothetical banker not tied into the banking system with the 10X dup on gold->plat exchange which probably isn't true .Links and information about exploits removed, please don't post them. ~Lothay
As was suggested, anyone you suspect of using a macro to make anything, throw a monkey wrench into the works (rusty sword in the forge when they are doing this supposed exploit was suggested, I'm sure any forager can throw in something non-forgable to mess them up) and please /report and /petition any suspected macro use so the legit tradeskillers do not get splashed with this onus.

My apologies if this post is aginst the forum rules, if it is please edit or remove it as you see fit.

I found someone who I believed to be macro-ing the gathering of mushrooms in Kaladim.

I cast Spirit of Eagle on him, and I watched him go down the line, missing every mushroom on the way. :-)

If you see someone doing this at a forge, Find a mage to give them a mod rod. :-)

Yeah, it's not nice. But then, If they're a real person, you just buffed them, and it will take them a click or two to undo it.
