"Hey over there who's that guy?
The naked one with the lazy eye?
Who's that guy all handsome and pink?
    Could it be...........Mr. Dink?"

Hijacking a Hijack back to the real topic

For my first attempt at my 6th shawl I solo'd the threads with my druid(got 1 thread off first kill...that was so sweet *drool*). For the second I had a 65 wizard friend slaughter everything(that was so sweet to, i was sick of those **** sirens!). Anyway, back to the topic...

If you dont mind a bit of risk and/or waiting Ive got some methods for you.

As I'm sure you know, there is a lone siren standing on a rock down by the water on the opposite side of SS. Heres how you get her: You need Root + Every dot you can muster + lev(+ harmony if you get nervous about her running)

      1) Lev yourself(duh!)
      2) Fly down there and get pretty far away from here. Slowly start getting closer to her and keep trying to cast root. As soon as you get into range of root, root her.
      3) Drop every freaking dot you have on her.
      4) Back out of spell casting range quickly.

She is now slowly dying, but cant get you with her spells
But sometimes root will break and she will start swimming. Its possible she will swim by two other sirens that are kinda near her and MIGHT agro them. Thats why if you get nervous you may want to harmony her. I did this technique for a while and its SLOW, but effective.

      Method 2.

This one is slightly more risky, but you kill two sirens instead of one. For this youll want your highest AC/Hp buffs up, and Regen as well as Lev again, also youll need Upheavel, or your highest PBAoE, EB, and your highest Single target Nuke. The reason for this is because it does more damage(and doesnt hurt you) than the normal quad spells. Youll want to find the two sirens I mentioned in the above method. They are near the lone siren, but are underwater.

      1) God I hope I remember how to do this right, if not, play with it, youll get it. Yeah...thats right, step one is be ready to improvise
      2) Ok, once you find the sirens, swim underwater and target one.
      3) Swim as close as you can and land on the ground so you can cast. Cast the Upheavel spell.
      4) They should take pretty good damage, and agro on you. Nuke the one thats in your target box(if you dont have one targetted when the PBAoE goes off, you will as soon as one tries to hit you)
      5) That should finish her off, so the second one will end up as your new target. Nuke her!
      6) Done!

This one works because since you will be in melee range of them, they will try to hit you, instead of charm/mez/dot/nuke you, for the most part. But they do hit kinda fast and hard, so watch your HP and becareful. ALWAYS have an Evac loaded so you can get out of there if you have to. And if worse comes to worse, find a nice 65 wizard to slaughter them all! Good luck!

P.S. If you want more MR, get a Sarnak Battleshield. They usually sell for pretty cheap now adays and have 10SvM. Hehe, one more thing DONT camp the darn smudge stick. I camped it once...omg....OMG! I must have killed the chief 30 times before he dropped it. In that time I could have made enough money to buy one, lol.
