Stuff happens..
And its sticky, brown, and stinky.
I'm talking about bronze colored caulk (which I had the pleasure of putting some on one of my windows today), but this is besides the point.
And its can also be chocolate syrup, which I'll have the pleasure of some on some cookies & cream ice cream soon, but that is also against the point.
So Saturday (here in the park, I think it was the 4th of July) I was ecstatic to ding at 50. One more level to a new title, AAs and whatever. Woohoo!
Spent the weekend getting up to 40% tnl.
Got into a LDoN group today, good new is that I got 20%s, I was roughly 21% tnl. Bad new is that we failed miserably. I was fighting like a level 50 Rogue trying to solo using 2HB for the first time. All melee skills at their respective max.
I have a Legendary Dagger of might and a blackend acryla blade in my offhand (forgot which one). Ikky plate and turtle belt, so I have some good regen going too, along with killer DpS. Poisons? Heck yeah, 181DD + stun when needed. Rest of my stuff is in my magelo profile (in my sig).
Earlier in the day, I wanted some EXP and cash, where else? HGs in Rathe. 3rd giant killed me. WTF? I've been hunting these since 42 (soloing) and never had a serious issue. This one HG resisted all fear (intimidation) I missed, a lot, and he hit me hard, and a lot. Luckily I was able to get a 96% from an overly friendly friend's guild mate. Nothing too huge loss, 3 HGs and I was back where I was.
Then the LDoN semi-failure.
After I headed to Eastern Wastes to kill some orcs, like I have been since 45ish. There was the one lego, who handed my rear to me each time (no deaths, thank god for JBoots). Always resisted my intimidation, triple'd me for 100-150 A LOT, always dodged my blows, had killer regen also (faster than my 2 regen items!). Not only that, while fleeing, he was outrinning me with 50% health and JBoots (strife run)!
Failed at him twice, so I went to GD to kill a few FGs to get me to 16%tnl. (one LDoN away form ding).
First FG, light blue. Same thing. constantly hit me for max damage while I'm missing left and right, resisted intimidation. Ran away and zoned to EW with 5% health.
Then, I healed and headed to PoK to call it a (bad) day.
Yeah, I'll chalk it up as a bad day, or as a guildie put it,
(insert word) happens.
Hopefully Sat I'll get a good LDoN group and ding a few times.
