I hate it when I move stuff around (stock rotation, y'know and then the next morning wonder why nothing at all out of my selection of fast-selling, popular stuff has sold... and it's because stuff disappears from sale when you move it... /sigh.

I actually hate it when I wake up in the morning, or coming home from work and find that I have been disconnected by my ISP (compuserve). Yes, I know it is the ISP and not the game because I have been kicked out of game only to be staring at the start up screen for compuserve stating I had been disconnected due to lack of activity. Only one more year left for that.. sheesh.

Hehe my problem is that my dog loves to see what's on top of things...counters, tables, my desk. I can't count how many times she's hit the ESC key with her paw and turned off trader mode

/safelock is your friend. prevents any keys from sending info to the server. It's PW protected so your dog/boyfriend/whatever cannot send any commands in.

It's even worse when you're sitting at the computer and your kitten (who is cute but brainless) decides the best way to get mommy's attention is to walk all over that keyboard in front of her and rub on her face.

I have Disc and HT linked to hot keys and I have lost a few of those to nothing important due to this kitty......

"Gah! She hit my Disc. again!"
"Welp, there goes HT, please thank my kitty."

I write and distribute the newsletter for a small organization I'm involved (okay, I make quilts!). Anyway, one lady was having problems reading the PDF file I email.

I got a series of the absolutely funniest emails from her...I'll try to reproduce...

Now that I've locked the cat upstairs, I think I figured out what my problems was. Thank you.

Lothay has 2 cats, Gremlin and Dude. (For the recored, I didn't name Dude, I inherrited him with the name already attached).

On severl occasions, guildmates have told me that they know that Gremlin is playing, becasue my typing has improved dramatically. On others while playing a Ranger alt, they accuse Dude of playing since my skill at pulling improved.

This is only a problem if you need to use it within the next 10 minutes

I've dropped books and such off my monitor onto my keyboard, and knocked myself out of trader...

I've also had my cat go to sleep on my keyboard, and found my trader the next morning zoned into Shadowhaven...
Apparently, the cat had slept on the arrow keys in such a way to move him forward and basically into autorun, and following the wall at an angle just pushed him across a zoneline

Sucks trying to move a toon overweight by 2400 pounds back into the bazaar.

Then I realized that my trader is bound there, and got him killed.

Well, her timing could have been better, I sortof needed to cast a heal or two on the main tank just then......

I was once getting ready to go out for the night and figured I may as well set my trader up. When I returned my trader was still standing in a stall waiting for me to hit 'Begin Trader'.
Fortunately I had enough food on him that he had not began eating Lotus Pies yet, but I still lost out on plenty of sales.
