Well, after saving up numerous bits of tradeskill items for tailoring and finally amassing about 400 LDoN tempers I finally decided I would push my skills. First came tailoring.
I had 120 wyvern hides. Very handy because I also had 120 cod from a long time ago, looked in the bazaar and bought the only cod there for 3pp to make 121 cod. Made 120 oils with 1 fail (bless you RNG). Had 66 studs and managed to buy 44 more for only 50pp each in the bazaar. Considering velium pieces were 30pp each at the least I was very thankful.
OK from 120 wyvern hides and 10 cobalt hides I only got 4 skill ups (curse you RNG). Was annoyed I didn't get more but it got me to 221 which is really all I need for now.
Then came blacksmithing. It was a pain in the neck making folded sheets but compared to farming hollowshade was a walk in the park. Made 260 odd and started at 199. This gave me 110 combines and got me all the way to 209! (bless you RNG).
Couldn't believe my luck so I made another 85 sheets for 26 more combines. Needless to say I only needed 1 point from this lot as I had 4 stacks of bricks tucked away. Weeellll, 3 points from that 26 combines... I was quite happy

All up 13 points from 136 combines of the LDoN armour. and now for possibly the hardest 8 tradeskill points of my EQ career; I am not looking forward to shadowscream, but as a vah shir not much choice.
