  • Something very neat on the Testserver

Not sure if its the same on the production servers, but the beastlords have giant pets..

My warder now looks as if it were a Ice giants pet, thats how large it is.

Dwarfs every ogre and troll I run across.

Secretly I'm hoping its just Brell playing a prank on all the beastlords and nothing too dangerous comes of it.

Though at this time as big as my warder is, I keep expecting it to start giving me orders, or worse, pick me up by the scruff of the neck and carry me about like a kit.

Take care all and have a good day..

    *hugs*

LOL - sounds fun - post a screen shot of it - be sure to hit your pet with an enlarge spell too if you've got one.

/em hopes he doesn't come back and discover that his skelly pet is giant sized.

Jabor (holding Nidalap 10 feet off of the ground by the scruff of his neck) - "OK Nidalap, we need to have a talk about this whole "master/pet" thing..."
    Cigarskunk!
No more EQ for me till they fix the crash bug.

i've been playing a bit on the test server again myself, and discovered a new addition. a 'find' button, that, when clicked, shows the names of any wayfarer merchants or recruiters in the zone you're in. if you click a name and 'find' a pulsing yellow line guides you to said individual.
after a while, i discovered that a similar line follows you around until you reach your target. spent much time making spirals and other odd designs in everfrost.

I wouldn't need this if they made all of the Magi teleporters wear bright orange robes and be hill giants or something. That Magus in BB is just cruel, but I was never a fan of the Gnomes anyways.

              Ok,

Took a screen shot, unmodified, the pet hasn't been buffed, no growth spell, nor has the Valarian guard its standing near been shrunken. I've not played about at all with any of the graphics, other than to make it cost less as far as upload/download.

May take a few moments to download.

              Enjoy..

Lol. That makes it live, and I'm going to be levelling up my Iksar BL for a while.

                    find

That find button is on cazic thule server right now. But it doesn't show anyone on the list at all not in towns or in ldon zones. I tried it in bb and ec and in pok didn't get a thing. But it's there under actions.

The find button went live the last patch on all servers. It only works in newbie towns. The bazaar window has a find trader button now that uses this thing, makes life a lot easier.

That Find button is a godsend in the Bazaar!

(And apparently the BL giant warder bug only affected Barbarian and Vah Shir BLs, from what I heard.)

It also affected shamans, at least the barbarian ones, just from what I saw running around PoK that day o.O
Would've been funny if it affected the druid bear too
