Solstice Robes Trival 250? I think not!

After only 101 combines (from 196 skill) I had 13 successes on the solstice robes! Without geerlok!
Either SoE is just being cruel to us tailors or something is seriously wrong.
Acrylia may indeed be easier as compared to getting these chains. *sighs* Especially considering the chains sell on average for 150% of the finished robes price on my server.
Yet the gem studded chains used to make them (also at a 250+ trivial .. this time in JC) failed 15/20 times for enchanters with 250 JC + trophy. *sobs*

At least I got 2 skill ups in 196 combines.

Wouldn't surprise me if Sony stealth nerfs solstice robes since it's one of those Stein of Moggok things that made accomplishing something that's supposed to be rather difficult actually fairly easy.

No. As in making them easier to succeed on thereby ruining the skill up path cause you blow too much PP. Too much PP=No one makes them=Harder to get.

Don't equip the geerlock. I have over a 100 sitting on the mule from when I skilled up on them. Basically they start getting really high success rates around 210ish.

I had a 50% success rate on solstice robes at a skill of 168. (Okay, so it was only 3 for 6 when I decided to farm acrylia instead of trying to find more chains, but still...) You have my sympathy.
