I am currently trying to improve my tradeskills required for the coldain prayer shwal. I have gotten my baking and brewing up around 100ish. So, I figure I will do some work on tailoring, currently 19, and make some leather padding for future use for smithing. So, I have a friend that has a ton of lq and mq pelts on a mule that he is going to give me to use. All I have to do is just go farm spiderling silk.
So, I port down and run to EC. Being a level 46 druid, I can kill all the snake and spiderlings I want with my root spell, or through charming a pet. But being the nice person I am, 24 low level people in the zone, I offer to trade buffs, bear and wolf steaks for spiderling silks. I had 2 people take me up on the offer. One got a level becuase of the buffs given. But he was looking to sell and additional 50, so that he could buy new spells. I bought them.. what the heck. So, I run around killing all the snakes, spiders, spiderlings, and bears in sight. Wound up with a lot of spiderling silks, but never got a HQ bear skin, oh well not what I was after.
KEI wears off, and no one wants to take me up on my offer. So I say BAH to all those new toons in the zone, do all my combones to make silk threads, and go up to the nexus.
I got a refresh on the C3, and went to EK. Only 4 people in the zone.. woo hoo. I charm a griffawn, buff it, go a killing of snakes and crag spiders.
All in all it was a fair evening. But to those low level people in EC last night, with the 2 exceptions, I say BAH. When I started out, I happily traded for a few buffs to help me out. The guy that I bought the 50 from, he only traded 9 for the buffs.. but hey, I was giving Sow, skin like diamond, storm strength, and chloroplast...
