    I've always thought there should be other ways to build AA points besides just fighting for experience. Wouldn't it be better if you got AA experience for gaining a point in a skill, or for successfully crafting something?

    The amount of experience gained would have to be proportional to the difficulty and expense of materials however. I'm not sure about you, but if I brew to 200, I think I should get a few yellows out of it, if not a whole point of AA. Although a whole point would be a bit much.

    What EQ could do is have items that you can craft, and turn into your guildmaster NPC for experience. For example. An item trivial at 25 skill would yeild an unnoticible gain in AA for a single turn in, but still give AA experience none the less. But an item thats not tirival at 250, takes 4 trade skills to craft, costs 500pp per try, fails more than half the time and is a general mofo to craft should yield a yellow of AA.

    To avoid buying AA at the bazaar you could always make the required components no drop.
