GM Trade Skiller Finder....

I know "The Tinkering Compendium" has a way for people to find gnomes who Tinker, but is there a website for all the other class/race/skill combos?

I was thinking of creating such a website where people from all servers could register and search for a specific server/race/class/skill combo, but if one exists I dont want to reinvent the wheel.

As far as I can see I could make it myself and it would be free to search or add your characters, but there would be a donations link and a fee to have an Ad Banner added to help advertise your wares. (you can still be broguth up in a search if you dont pay anything, the added feature would just randomly place an extra ad for someone, this way I can pay for server costs...)

Any ideas? Good, bad, etc welcome....

P.S. I know I for one hate looking for a GM Tailor in bazaar or some hard to find class/race/skill combo for cultural goods....

I know many already donate to Den Mum's massive hard work to EQ Traders, not so sure if people would donate again to a site where most of the information can be found right here.

However, it is a nice thought.

I guess my main gripe is Veeshan doesnt have a handy way to find trade skill people like other servers do. If I need to find a trader the only thing I have to go by is shouting in bazaar or pawing thru forums. Thought it would be nice to have an easier search, but if people don't think its worth while I wont do it as if only a few put their info in searches wont do much good....

And as far as donations go the server I use now would house such a site as long as I dont go nuts with graphics and it is only $5 a month unless it gets hit HARD then bandwidth would cost me...

Talk to one of the moderators for your server and see if they'll set up stickies like on some of the other servers. Those people that are willing to donate/sell their skills can add posts/send tells/email to the moderator(s) to update the sticky with their information.

http://eqcrafters.guildtools.net/ is great, exactly what you are looking for I think.

But it isn't widely used yet, except by Rodcet Nife, obviously the most advanced of the servers *grin*
