  • Apologies to The Who fans...

...but all the time I've spent in Lower Guk lately has warped my fragile little mind.

    A Jin Ghoul Wizard

    The Crusader:
Ever since I was level fifty,
    I soloed to safe hall.
    From bedroom down to AM,
I must have slain them all.
But I ain't seen nothing like him
    Anywhere near the zone wall...
That dead numb and green frog,
    Kills 'thirties near safe hall.

    He stands like a statue,
Looking green and dead and lean.
    A danger to the hunters,
    His nukes are pretty mean.
    He plays in dead condition,
    The lowbie's HP falls.
That dead numb and green frog,
    Kills 'forties near safe hall.

    He's a jin ghoul wizard
There has got to be a twist.
    A jin ghoul wizard
Got dead skin for his wrist.

How long until the repop? I don't know.
    What makes him no good?

    He ain't got no distractions,
    Can't see those /shouts and /tells.
    He follows when they're dashin',
And brings his friends as well.
    The evac failed to Gfay,
A res is needed for all.
That dead numb and green frog,
made a train near safe hall.

    I thought I was
    on my way to king,
    But I just rez-zed
    Those who fell to him.

    Even with twinkie armor,
    He can beat their best.
The Bok knights lead him in,
and he just does the rest.
    He's got rotten flipper fingers,
nuked the bard into the wall,
That dead numb and green frog,
I killed him near safe hall!!!

LOL! That's awesome. Having spent a lot of time in LGuk, I can sympathize completely.

Random question, though. I'm not too familiar with The Who. Which song is this supposed to be?

The lyrics actually work reasonably well for a song called "The Highwayman" -- apparently originally done by Glen Campbell, but the version I've heard is by a mix of country artists, each singing a verse. Anywho, with a bit of tweaking, it could be made to fit that too.

Or maybe I'll take a crack at writing something up...

The song is from the rock-opera "Tommy" by The Who.

        The title is "Pinball Wizard."

Ah, OK! I thought it seemed familiar, but the reference to The Who threw me off. I know the Elton John version of the song.

Suddenly it makes much more sense, and now I know why it seemed so familiar.

/em starts singing really strange lyrics to this old song...

VERY well done. The lyrics fit so well it's spooky.

Elton John actually sang that song in the movie version of "Tommy".
