WTB: a new toe (RL)

Yesterday I cut a huge gash in my foot (my own stupid fault), didn't require stitches, cause there wasn't enough to stitch back together (the gap was too wide), but it hurts very much, and I can't really take my pain meds cause I need to watch my 2 1/2 year old daughter.

A bit worse than me then, or possibly not.
Yesterday, running to get phone (in bare feet as I frequently am about the home) caught my little toe on the door frame... broke it good... now its about the same size as my big toe. Doesn't hurt much now though - mostly just numb, though at least there was no blood.
But I feel your pain.

I broke four toes on one foot and three toes on the other in a dancing accident about eighteen years ago (god, can it have been that long?)

Ask how you break seven toes dancing?

Simple.

1. Be in a musical.

2. Have the choreographer put in a number where, at the end of the song, everyone jumps off the stage and darts off through various exits.

3. Have another production, without anyone's knowledge or consent, decide to lengthen the stage thrust six feet farther forward than you remember.

4. On dress rehearsal, shine the lights in everyone's face so they can no longer see the seats.

5. Jump off the usual distance, then land on the edge of a folding theatre seat with your toes.

6. Presto!

I taped my feet and danced four performances. I still can't move the toes much on my left foot.
