Magicians?

Hey fellas. I have some questions. My main character is a level 32 Magician. Over time, my class has been teased by Necromancers and other character types. I know Mages are a pretty powerfull class but I've seen what a Necro can do.

My question is. Is there a tactic to beating a necro with a mage. So when people tease me I can duel them. I figured maybe I could buy equipment to get my resists high enough were the dots don't do much. But you know...

I know there are alot of good necros. But most of the ones I've met let their reputation go to their heads.

Heh, my mage has duoed with a necro a lot. I'm currently 31, she's 34 ... duo'd off and on since our twenties. While she does have a few more spells than me, we're usually in the same spell circle, and she can solo things with much less downtime, and with much more "cushion" (pet health, lead, ability to handly adds) than I can.

So I don't know what to say, but I'm continually impressed by the necros But do go check out magician's tower, they should be able to help.

my friend who plays a magician has always wanted to see what a 6 mage group could take out.

with earth pet's for tanks, and them able to effectivly chain cast them if one drops, another is there...it would be interesting..
