I find severed heads and birth control to be in good taste.
Or, If you like the Bride and Groom, maybe something you think they would be without in their new life.
If you dont know them well enough to think of any items they might need, then a Foreman Grill is always a winner.

Plat is the best since it can be split between the bride and groom
Hey, make sure you petition and try to get a GM there...when my bard got married in the Temple of Sol Ro, we had a pally in the guild do the wedding because no GM's showed up, altho a guide had taken our info a week earlier...
...or so we thought until we finished our vows, turned around, and found 3 of em just watching
They also brought the wedding cake!Grenoble

remember that wedding presents are not compulsory. I know people that refuse to go to weddings because of the mistaken idea that gifts are required. If you are of limited means, your presence is a good gift...

I find a stack of MTP and QT each is a good start. If it is for someone I really like and I can make something like a piece of armor upgrade I make that.
For one guild wedding I made two full suits of Gold Ornate Chain and bought a wedding sword for the groom. The armor was not used for anything but the wedding but made for some great pictures.
Just a thought.

My favorite is to do pictures of the wedding (especially if you have something like MS Photo Editor). Take LOTS of screen shots and convert them to GIF or JPEG format. If you do have something like the editor, use it's features like watercolor, stained glass, and (my favorite) the texturizer to create portraits and other images from the wedding. If the players are into the characters enough for them to go though an IC marriage then the pictures will be LOVED!Morani
