Shared bank slots

Now, I don't know about most of you, but not having any other characters, this just becomes 2 more slots to hold stuff, or 20 more with the right bags in them.

Perhaps I should create another character to hold all of my extra baking supplies and such.

Can you also transfer money between the characters too? It would be helpful to buy the bags to put on a new character.

Can't directly transfer money, but you can transfer gems; there is a 10% 'tax' on funds transferred this way

eg in Bazaar, there is a nice man who will sell you Peridots for 10.499pp each, and will buy them back at 9.524pp each (best prices). Thus if you have say 1000pp you want to transfer to an alt, you buy 95 peridots, put them in the shared bank, switch to your alt, and sell those 95 peridots for 905pp.

This addition is geared for those of us that don't have the funds or desire to have a second account.

Best was to transfer money is to buy a bunch of common bazaar items, such as Misty Thicket Picnics or SCHWs, and tranfser that then sell it at the same price you bought it for. May take a little while to get your money, but it works.

My problem is the other way around. I tend to use my mule to buy smithing supplies, and give them back to me. But that always leaves me with cash floating around on the mule. Can't spend it all.

If your only using the other character to store stuff and dont need them to buy anything, then you dont need to transfer money. Just put bags in with one, take out with other, go back to first, put 2 more bags in, rinse, repeat.

Ive never understood why you actually need to transfer cash onto a mule/second character. If you are giving them cash to buy spells, why not just buy them on the main(if possible that is) and transfer. Twinking? Just use the bank space and move it. Heck even food and drink can be moved over. Or do you guys just like the sound of cold hard plat in your coin purses?

I tranfer my cash from my bazaar mule to my enchanter all the time for that reason.

Another reason: ease of one character getting ingredients over another, for reasons of being KOS or more transportable.

For example: I make dye for cost for guildies. My druid can get there much more easily. She buys the ingredients, puts them in the shared bank slots, and I have stuff to make dye with. I do have a second account for a permanent trader and for transfering money but there is another reason.

I have also had to buy items in places where I am KOS. That would help there too.

There are a few items that buy and sell at the same price, but they're all very low cost, so hard to transfer decent sums of money that way. Water flasks buy/sell for 1sp, and fishing bait buy/sell for 3cp. So with the flasks, you can trade 2gp a stack :P Not much, but it's something.

Just make sure to give the alt 2 opal steins first, or some other cha gear, if you're going to have them do any buying/selling from vendors.

A way to transfer plat would be handy. I have a dedicated baz mule, who accumulates most of my wealth ... and when I go vendor diving, its often spontaneous or while trying to find a next thing to go kill, so switching chars gets really annoying. Plus for doing large runs of stuff, switching frequently would be a pain - think of doing CE's, and having to switch chars every 10 stacks of CEs to buy two bags more of components; or the big non-stackable ores, or any number of other things. I just like having the cash on the char that's gonna use it So I have a friend help with the transfers.
