What zone reminds you of "Home?"

Qeynos. Not much has been said about this but I love this town. I despise the surrounding hunting areas but I am in love with Qeynos. This is odd cause I am a halfling. Almost all my characters have been halflings and I should prefer Rivervale, but Qeynos is my home. Everyone in Qeynos loves me. Cept the Bloodsabres of course... Oh yeah - and I killed Lashun Novashine about a zillion times just to shut him up and hopelessly ruined my paladin and cleric factions there so I avoid certain parts of town.

I don't know what it is about Qeynos, but I just like it. The city is pretty yet hides so much evil within it. There is so much intrigue between the guard factions. There are several, what seem like unimplemented, quests (the thing with Crow and Tubal still baffles me).

Greater Faydark, without a doubt. I feel a special affection/connection to the elven races, particularly the wood elves. And of all the characters I play or have played in Everquest, the greater number of them were wood elves. So I have spent a lot of time in Greater Faydark, and with my druids, Lesser Faydark. I have explored most of the non-planar zones to some extent, but Faydark will always be my home

Halas/ EF is home regardless of which pc I am playing. I spent a lot of levels there, even brought over twinks to the harsh cold lands as soon as they could make the trip ... aye this all pre-PoP . Back in the good old days of the EC tunnel my first hundreds of plat were done selling pelts, padding and swatches And I still remember fondly the perilous trip from Halas to EC... aye even b4 there was a SFG port heh.

Blackburrow is home for me. It seems like on all my characters I end up there. When I started on T.Marr when the game came out, that's where I hung out. The commander room upstairs where names spawn was pretty much everyone else's first try at crowd control. Hilarity ensued.

Fond memories of taking my Shank rogue there on Vallon. I was big enough to PK, but usually not big enough to survive the gnoll trains. I remember camping a giant snake fang. You could make poison from the venom sacs too. I was living off the land.

Even fonder memories of the battles for control of Blackburrow when Sullon opened up. Some of the most entertaining PvP I've ever had in the game. 20 on a side fights for control of the zone that represented the gateway between Halas and the outside world.

I've turned in 50,000 gnoll teeth. I've drank Blackburrow stout most of my EQ career. I've knitted gnoll fur into cloaks. I've camped the blackburrow cask (for about 10 characters). Every twink I make ends up in Blackburrow until everything is green.
