  • I love the Bazaar

    Well, so far, anyways.
My first trip there a week ago netted me this fine specimen of a weapon, Zraxthril Forged Flamberge, for only 10 platinum:

Last night, I was staying at my friends house, as I normally do Sunday nights/Monday morning after getting off work from my second job before going to my regular weekeday job. I get to spend a couple hours playing.
Anyway, when I logged in, he asked to take a look at my inventory. He said my stuff was ok, but I needed to get some kind of wisdom item for my ranged slot. So, after killing a few orcs for a while, I headed off to the bazaar. I get there, pull up the bazaar menu and look for a ranged item. As I scroll down, I see an item for 1gold 1 silver 1cpper. I'm thinking, hey I can afford that. So I buyy this item:

Preserved Owlbear Eye. I am thinking I got a really good deal on this, even better than my sword.

I also traded a high quality bear pelt for a misty thicket picknic. As I don't know the value of the pelt, I think it was a good trade.

    Very very nice.

The owlbear eye for a gold piece was amazing. :-)

That flamberg sounds great when I was a bit lower .

Lately though, Centi Warhammers have been rotting on corpses I've killed.

      /rude Lore common drops.

As for the range slot, ask Lilosh how much a hobgoblin suprise goes for on your server. Then do the beginner magic manual quest, if you're over lvl 30 or so, stats are better than owl eye, and cost is insignificant. Only purchase is the Hobgoblin suprise.

Took me a half hour in PoK to run around, and 5 minutes in bazaar.

P.S. If you've been collecting stuff for Lilosh, he may owe you some decent food anyhow .

        I love the bazaar

Well, I am currently hovering at level 12, not too far off from 13, so i don't think I will be getting that item any time too soon.

As for the stuff I am collecting for Lilosh, I did mange to forage 1 misty acorn, but it appears to have gotten destroyed when fending off an orc oracle

That's ok, just save me some leather padding. :-)

Then go hang out in Thurgadin foraging me "Tuft of Dire Wolf Fur".

I will pay you well for them.

Well, last night I got to 26 on tailoring, and made my first padding. How many would you like me to save before letting you know when they are ready? I also now have 2 misty acorns. I will let you know when I have a complete stack.

Stacks probably, depending on what his current smithing skill is. =P
Not delivered all at once tho.

If you are going to give him padding, make sure he pays you close to whatever the going price is in the Bazaar.

Don't give him too big a discount...
