Why is it so hard to bake a yellow cake?

    That's ok, I cooked some of those rolls once, the cinnamon ones that come with the frosting...didn't occur to me that it was odd that the frosting had no lid until husband bit into one and said "wtf?!"
    hehe, oops...at least it wasn't my father in law who found the missing lid ops:

    As for yellow cakes, I had a friend who actually used to dye her cakes yellow o_O

      I once made a good yellow cake from regular old all purpose flour. The secret is to triple-sift it.

      I would never attempt to make a yellow cake without a good mixer, though. Besides, how are you going to make frosting with just a spoon and your hand? It's hard to whip air into butter like that.
