EQ Server Mergers

I been gone awhile - last EQ login was in 2005 and toying with idea of getting back in (but have to buy new computer first). Apparently during the server merges they deleted any characters that were inactive more than six months and under level 10. I wouldn't really care except for my bazaar trader which was deliberately left below level 10. I forget the exact reasons for that but I think it was to avoid erroneous PvP attacks or something. And checking out my profiles I've definately lost gear - tho heaven knows what for sure.

Anyway, I was curious as to when the last EQ server mergers occured?

They just did a number of server merges on June 22nd

Missing gear on an EQ Players profile does not mean the gear is actually missing. EQ Players is notoriously inaccurate.

Some on the TSW forums have made mention that they were able to petition for the deleted characters to be returned, but I wouldn't assume that is guaranteed to happen. Best of luck!
