Lil baby Ivan Augustine was born Monday night - 9 pounds, 19 3/4 inches of perfection =) We're finally starting to get some sleep now, life is still a bit hectic tho =) Posted a bunch of pics on myspace, at www.myspace.com/moviejunkie73

It seems that by default, babies are of the enchanter class, because everyone near them seems to be mesmerized and reduced to helpless cooing once they see the baby!

My boy is four months old now and I'll tell you it's quite an experience. One word of warning though. People tell you to keep his front end covered when you change him so he doesn't pee all over the place. But let me tell you to also keep the back end covered! I was changing my son when he was still less than a week old and he managed to shoot poop half-way up my arm!

Anyway, I hope you all manage to get enough sleep over the next several months. Be prepared for drool, spit-up, and other bodily fluids to appear at the worst possible moment. But also be prepared for all the smiles and laughter he'll provide in the coming years.

Completely agreed, here... I one-armed raids for a while, getting the kid settled in just the right way so the bottle leaned in the crook of my arm and chest. It left me my mouse hand free, which was really all I needed. ;D

And my tricycle motor is now two and a half years old, so he wasn't scarred from the incident... though he does occasionally mutter to himself while playing, not unlike Daddy.
