Looking for an aug

Hi folks. I'm currently in the process of gearing up my Ranger alt to fight Vox & Naggy, but am stuck on 1 item.

I'm hoping to find a weapon aug this fits several criteria:
1)Both his weapons have type 8 augment slots so must fit type 8.
2)It must be equippable at level 52 so can not have Req. Level >52.
3)I hate seeing red numbers or losing stats so can not Rec. Level >52.
4)I want a weapon prok of some kind so must fit Primary or Secondary slots.

Difficulty & requirements to aquire are not an issue. So far I have found Radiant Permafrost Chunk, but need a second aug for his other weapon.

If another qualifying aug does not exist then I'd end up putting Cipher of Veeshan or Eye of the Dragorn in his other weapon.

Here's an Alla's premium search that best matches your requirements (excluding the rec level, which Alla's doesn't allow you to specify). You can only see the results if you're a premium Alla's member, I believe.

It looks like the one aug you linked is the only one that exclusively matches your criteria, but if you're willing to tolerate just a little red, there are a couple of proc augs with recommended level 55 on them, very close to your desired 52:

I don't know if this is only on test server but there is a vendor in each hometown that sells augments. Try finding one, maybe they have something you like

Kyros, I'd thought of that, but am trying to avoid stats/ratio loss so those miss on criteria #3.
Amaljia, I checked those out, but they are all type 4 only so they miss on criteria #1.

Your biggest problem in this type of search is the type 8 killer. Type 8 was originally implemented to denote PoTime gear from everything else, and while there is some blurring, it's a fairly good indicator of raid vice non-raid gear. Because of that, virtually everything that is type 8 will be targetted at levels higher then 52, and in most cases 65+.

A better suggestion might be to find yourself an acceptable type 4 weapon, since there are a plethora of quality type 4 augs which are easily had.

My suggestion: Carnivorous Coral. 20 point lifetap proc. Type 4. Recomended level of 50. You can get one from both Norrath's Keepers and Dark Reign. Just go invis to talk to the DR guy. You can get the aug with the same name, but they have different ID's, so you can have matching augs in your weapons.

Raid weapons are type 8 just like the armor. It's only the non-raid weapons with type 4 slots.

Yes I'd rather have a non-ice based prok, but that's the only thing available to my criteria at the moment. Besides, it's still great for Naggy.
