Patch tonight?

Roomour are there is going to be a patch Wedns.2nf of May. anyone know anymore about this? checked eq forums but cannot find any info about this.

No info on the patch either. Probably not tonight. If SOE is consistient with their past patches, you should get one in a couple weeks give or take a few days.

Yep, it is definately best to bust out all of your combines ASAP. Once I heard about the changes I used up everything inside a week. Of course, I didn't have a HUGE stockpile, but what I had I sure as shooting wasn't going to loose when I had more than fair warning.

I finally had some time last week and used up my 130+ MDSs. I now have a mule full of 10+ sets of Human GM Chain and Plate armor that grrrrr isn't selling!

Maybe you have it over priced? If the market won't buy it at a price you think is fair stick it in a bank till the economy changes. Or sell it to someone to re-sell. A higher priced seller always makes your price look more reasonable.

Of course I made mine within the first week of hearing of the changes coming and sold the armor in the bazaar within 24 hours. Timing IS important when you are selling.

I think the best time to sell them going forward is when the initial revamp happens. However, other people may be thinking that as well, so either the market will be flooded then, or people will be having trouble getting the new components, and your already made gear will be able to sell now.

Addionally, I wouldn't have all the sets for sale at once. I do 1 set at a time. I hope you at least got some skill-ups.

Oh, I got plenty of skill-ups to make me happy! Even though I am almost always the only person selling both types of armor, I don't try to rip people off. I generally go with a 25-50% markup on the piece over how much MDSs are currently selling for on my server. I.E. MDSs going for 12k, I price my bracers at 15-18k each. It may be true though that I flooded the market all by myself by making so many at once.
