Websense Filters

I like to surf the web at work (break time only of course), but most sites I like to view get blocked by Websense Filters that my company have on the servers. I can access EQ Traders and EQ-OutRiders no problems, but pretty much all other EQ boards are not available to me. Anyone else know of any other EQ sites that I might be able to view or a way to trick the filters? I cant even even look at my magelo for new main char' "Lone Ranger".

The problem is that WebSense is customizable by your IS folks. They set what they want blocked so it would be different by company depending on what they decided to block or were aware of.

My company also uses WebSense - EQ related I can get to here, my guild board, and Samanna's. I used to be able to get to EQLive forums but those have been blocked now too.

You will just need to experiment but I would try Samanna's as a start.

I have Websense too. I used to get to the official EQ boards until they revamped them. Since then, I cannot. I wonder if they noticed a drop in traffic since revamping their boards as I bet A LOT of folks do their posting during work hours.

Ditto here - we use Websense and since implementation, I would say 85% of the EQ boards I visit on breaks or at lunch are now blocked.

I can access eqtraders, raidloot.com and lucy (but not Allas- wtf?).

Try using proxys yet? That was the main thing while in highschool to get around websense. Just type in proxy or somthing into google or yahoo and just keep clicking till you get one that works and have fun surfing you fav. sites.
