Found this by accident searching for the old Play-by-mail games from the 80s.

looked like fun, weekly "turns" text based game, im in game 40 atm. Hoping to get some more people into the game. The game im in started with 53 people registered and only 19 set up their Armies in time to start.

Its free to play and all you need is an email address and an imagination.

Found the site for "It's a Crime" and "Monster Island" but dang they are expensive now. Finished turn three in my first game and having fun, have met (via Email and forums) some players from Canada, France, Spain, and the Netherlands as well as the US.

The thing i like the most is you can't solo your way thru it, you need to socialize and build allies to help you progress and achieve world domination.
