  • Sometimes it pays to check barter...

Someone was offering 10 plats for Coldain Velium Temper so I logged on a toon I left in Thurgaden, bought a lot for just under 6pp each, transferred them through shared bank to my bazaar mule and sold them all to the buyer at 4 plats profit per.

Net gain: 3500pp. easy 3500 for only 10 minutes of work.

This is not the first time I got nice profit from vendor sold goods. Way back to when Barter was new, someone was buying lots of bat wings (at the same price as vendor) and rat ears at 5pp each. I remembered there was one vendor that sold the rat ear so I went to east common and bought up a lot then sold them to the buyer for almost 5 plats profit each.

Yup, quite often people value time or convenience a lot more than plat. There's good money to be made in the bazaar, both for buyers and sellers. It always pays to check.

Just made almost 20k a few min ago. Someone had 12 GDH for 4500 each and a buyer was offering almost 6k each. Since GDH isn't a fast seller I opted to sell it to the buyer rather than keeping them and selling for 8-9k each they normally go.

Its always worth filling those empty trader slots with convenience goods from one off vendors. I keep of stock of Velium Bars, Fulligan stones, Rat Ears, Bits&Bobs from CobaltScar and Abysmal Sea. With 20 or so vendor bought items (stacks) I keep up occasionaly, I generally get 1 or 2 sales a day, sometimes 1pp profit sometimes 1kpp profit depending on the goods.

The thing I hate about vendordiving / barter is..

The people are NEVER up when I have the stuff XD

I buy Steppes Ore off of the guildhall vendors alot ..bought a stack yesterday

          Nobody inbarter..

When I had 2-3 of them There would ALWAYS be someone buying them
