New EQ forums?

    New EQ forums?

    Anyone have a link to the new SOE Eq forums, that works? When I click on the link from that "Startion.com" page with all teh various forums listed, it tries to open a page at http://forums.station.sony.com/eq/, but my home copmputer and now my work computer both are getting errors.

    According to something posted on the main Sony site, they're switching over to a new forum system. The forums will be down for a day or two while they transfer everything over. There's supposed to be a temporary board up somewhere during the transition, but I can't find it.

      The temporary forum was up -- but I suspect problems were encountered moving the message board to their custom Jforum board.

      None of the links I have get me anywhere and a little poking around didn't reveal anything other than a disabled Jforum board.

      I miss my forums.

        That was yesterday...the Temporary Forum was at the old boards, but now that's gone too. There was also a message at the time ststing the new boards were expected to be up yesterday afternoon. They could at least have posted something on teh EQplayers site, if the new boards are delayed and teh Temp board is gone

          The new boards were working yesterday, for about 1 or 2 hours. I think that was all we needed to break it

            I got in for a few moments today after lunch (eastern time), viewed one thread and boom, got the "We’re sorry, but the page you tried to access cannot be found..." message.

            I hope they have some skins for the forum, though. The bright neon colors on dark blue/black background will certainly burn my retina trying to read it over the prior "retro" interface I used.

              The temp form was working fine when I used it last but the forum has been down since then. I just checked the forum a short while ago and got error page instead so I guess the forum got borked already.

              Sony seems to follow the reverse of the old adage:
              if it's not broken, break it.
              if it's broken, don't fix it.

              The old forum was working and SOE could have put it back up temporarily until the new forum works properly.
