Yes, "Corruption" is a new resist introduced in TSS. Everyone gets 15 in it, and gear with this resist will be rare to start.Master Artisan Maevenniia the Springy Sprocket Stockpiler of the really long name

Years ago, when Velious was brand spanking new, I had a level 13 necromancer on Lanys T'Vyl named Adastra. It was my first character, and I was in a guild with a few friends who corrup^H^H^H^H^H^H convinced me to play EQ.
When I asked where I should hunt at 13, a guildie told me that the snow bunnies in EW were about my level, could drop quest items, and could be hunted safely as they didn't aggro. That sold it for me. I took the lengthy boatride to Velious, remembered to bind at the docks after the trip - thank goodness - and following /ooc guidance, crept timidly across IceClad and zoned into EW. Lo and behold, a bunny sat at the base of the bridge, casually watching the sunrise.
I crept up behind it, and began to cast my snare.
Half the zone converted 12 stones of necromancer into a fine red mist.
Thinking it a fluke, I ran back to the zone, bound at the bridge, and went for my corpse. Again, half the zone particpated in permanently altering the psychic imprint of that area.
I returned to bind - within aggro radius of the lingering mobs.
My 12, no, 11, no, 10 necromancer faded into pixels and lost carrier as I franticly tried to yank the power cable out of my router.
I logged into a new alt a few minutes later, and asked if it was normal for such high-level mobs to be near the zone-in in EW. Gales of laughter and, later, gasped apologies were the result - she thought I knew she was joking about the snowbunnies.
A friendly cleric and a warrior cleared out the area and multi-rezzed me, but since then, he never did get past 13, always dying ignobly at the hands of some strange coincidence.

Originally posted by NolrogThey are adding politicians into the game. They added the corruption resist because all politicians are corrupt, so that gives you a way to make a saving throw against the politicial BS they toss at you.
