  • maximizing raid downtime

Here recently I've started carrying the portable containers and my materials with me for doing skillups while waiting on mana, etc after a raid wipe.

Last night I got 6 skillups in tailoring for time I would have been just sitting and waiting anyway!

    Does anyone else do this?

    I don't do this because
    1. My bags are full enough as it is ><
    and
    2. My group would hate me !

I've been known to rudely spam my group making laquered star rubies (or something else I'll need later) every so often while we're taking a med break. I try to keep it to a minimum though since a lot of people are bothered by the tradeskill spam.

Hehe, as the ultimate show of false bravado/ennui I would do minor combines in the middle of pulls just to upset ever-skittish rogue in our every day hunting group.

I was doing epicthiek power belt and small epicthiek power belts last night, and I warned the group about the incoming spam.

After about the 50th combine I was finally asked '****! How many of those freakin' things are you going to make?!"

          hehehe

Thinking about doing jewelcraft on the road as soon as I hit 250 in Tailoring.... mwahahahaha

Hehe, when I was leveling up in alchemy, I always carried around the compents (if I had them) to make the pok X potions. I would make them during med breaks, etc. More often than not, I would have people in my group ask if they could have/buy some of the potions. Was pretty nice since I was making the potions by the bags full. I highly recommend carrying around tradeskill stuff to mess with when your bored waiting on something in a group or a raid. If people complain about the spamming, well... they can always try to filter it out of their chat window
