  • Bazmule help needed....

Ok heres my problem. Level 1 paladin is my trader mule. Well this morning I logged him on before i went to work, but i accidently clicked enter tuturiol. So now his stuck in Mines of Gloomingdale, with 8 trader bags full of stock and 80kpp. He cant move at all.
So how do I get him back to a gravity-free Baz?? I couldnt find anyone in mines high enough to give me a Levitate. I thought I could NPC suicide back to PoK, corpse-drag to PoK zone-line, loot and zone, and then beg a Levitate to walk to bank. But i'm to far from the NPCs to hit them. ANd I waited an hour for a guide with no success.
So anyone have any ideas?? All I can think of is to use return-home and suicide of Palidin-GM (if he is close enough)

Could duel a baby shadowknight an' get harmtouched--an' have a stone ready to summon your corpsie to the guildlobby an' get your bazaar stuff back--an' get buffed from there.

Okay... this is a bit extreme...

Do you have the 4th Vet Reward: Expedient Recovery? And do you still have unassigned Vet Rewards?

If so, then you're golden. "Return Home", suicide, run naked self to Bazaar, use Expedient Recovery.

And getting Harmtouched (or otherwise killed) while in the Tutorial won't help. As long as you're in there, your Bind Point is in there as well (I believe).

Otherwise, you can go this route: "Return Home", suicide, run naked self to Guild Lobby, Summon Corpse, get Ressed, get SoW, move to Guild Hall (if your mule is Guilded), dump stuff into bank, head to Bazaar.

If you can't go into the Guild Hall, then make sure you get Levitation as well as SoW... otherwise you will 20k trying to walk from the Guild Lobby to the Bazaar while carrying that much stuff.

Not sure, but since he's lvl 1... wouldn't he respawn from death with all that added weight still on him? Somehow, I remember my rogue twink respawning with his gear when he died.

Yes, suiciding wont help as he will respawn at his bind point with all gear on him and all bags in his inventory. Unless of course he had himself bound in the bazaar.

If your bind point is the bazaar you can return home, suicide and you will respawn there with everything on you...

          or

If you have the 2nd Vet AA, it maxes all your stats and resists....it just might give you enough STR to move....lasts 15 mins...

          or

/petition and ask for your toon to be moved to the bazaar (and make sure to get a bind there in case this happens again!)

You are a paladin. (the mule is anyway)

"Return Home" will take you to a good-aligned city. (Well if it's a froggie maybe not, don't play one so I'm not entirely sure about the move of the frogs.)

Have a friendly druid/shaman with passable faction SoW/Lev/SoE you and you are golden.

Even with max stats 8 traders bags weigh 200 stone. If you have more than 55 stone in gear in the non-weight reducing bags you're encumbered. Much more than that and you can't move without a buff. ... Went back and read "80k plat" ... that's something like 2000 stone in weight alone. Forget VetReward for max stats it won't even come close.

Return Home and a friendly SoE are your best option.

Second best... Return Home and someone you trust with all your gear making multiple trips. (Not recommended, slow and if you aren't running the second account it's risky.)
In My (Not Always) Humble Opinion, except where I quote someone. If I don't know I say so.
I suck at this game, your mileage WILL vary. My path is probably NON-optimal.

As someone who sometimes had to go out of the Bazaar to make trades for tens of thousands of plat and who had high shaman buffs at her disposal, I can say that speed buffs help somewhat but won't let you move if you're that badly encumbered. Lev will keep you from taking falling damage when moving while heavily encumbered, but doesn't let you move if you're so encumbered that you can't already move. Given that, the only benefit for you in getting out of Gloomingdeep but not to the Bazaar (assuming you can't arrange to leave the stuff on a body at level 1) will be so you can hand off the heavy stuff to someone until you can move again.

However, as Maev said, if you're willing to wait a bit you could petition explaining the situation and asking to be moved to the Bazaar. Then a GM could do it while you're offline.

Speed buffs like SoW (and even the Improved Run Speed AA) should allow you to move (crawl) regardless of your weight. However, carrying that much weight more or less guarantees a 20K fall if you don't have some form of levitation.

Erm, are you sure? I vividly recall being completely unable to move in Qeynos on one occasion, even with SoW. (I summoned my chain horse and was able to get to the bank, at which point I dismounted without thinking to enter the bank and fell for 20k. )

get a friend to buy you a sow potion and lev potion then your golden. of course they would have to create a lev 1 to get to the mines...on a side note get your mule leveled up and you wont have to worry about it again.

                      Tonight

Buns, if you're still in your dilemma after around 10:00 PM EDT tonight, look for me and if you see me send a tell. I'll bring my bard into the tutorial with potions to get you levied and SoWed and that should be enough for you to crawl to the Bazaar.

There's a banker in Gloomingdeep so if you can manage to get buffs to move that far, you could at least unload the plat and some bags (assuming the bank isnt full)

My brother made a mistake with his shammy once. He gated to a bind point near the main bank in PoK to catch the MGB's but didn't unload his bags or money first. Fully buffed a 65 shammy still couldn't move at all and I had yto help him out by holding 7 of his bags and most of his money while he made a few trips to the bank to unload the rest.

If you 2 box or have a trusted friend, you could have him/her create a level 1 toon to hold the stuff while you went to the bank to unload the rest.

I accidently sent my cleric home to Erudin once. Thankfully she didn't have very much stock, so I was able to destroy a couple of the bags. I got her weight down to the point where I could just barely move if I cast yaulp. That was a long crawl to the banker.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I tried a few things.

I found that if you do the tutorial you get automatically bound in glooming deep (found this when i returned home, smacked my Paladin GM, thinking i would return to my bind in PoK only to respawn in Gloomingdeep). So suicides no good even if you are close enough to hit something. At level 1 you also spawn with all your gear on, so cant drag corpse over to the banker. And whilst I got a lev in gloomingdeep, its an indoor zone so sow didnt work (thinking off that, I wonder if i can sow in kaladim, will have too see).

Will take my return home to Kaladim tonight and if sow doesnt work, a guildie has promised me a port to PoK. Thanks again.

[think ill post a suggestion on EQ boards for an "are you sure" option on tutorials like you have on "return homes"].
