Looking for Good EQ general Info site.

G'day,

Okay, I feel silly for asking this but google hasn't been friendly to me with my searches and I just can't seem to find a good place to get this info.

Where the heck do you find out about the new and improved DoD expansion?

For example, I've read and read about monster missions and all sorts of issues with them, but I've no clue how to get into one! Is there a text file in the game directory or something I'm missing?

In other words, where do you go for good general EQ information? I've found sites for specific info, like tradeskills , but no readable general info sites! The class sites I use are generally very good but out of date, especially around expansion time. Please help!

P.S. I've tried to read sony's eq forums but have found that mining for info there has a very low return. :/ Any tips for eqlive?
P.P.S. Work firewall friendly would be even better.

For general EverQuest information, I personally rely on the biggest one of all, AllaKhazam's Magical Realm at http://everquest.allakhazam.com. Casters Realm at http://eq.crgaming.com is also a pretty good general site, with some good information about those monster missions you were wondering about, although please bear in mind they are still putting together information regarding those missions.

G'day Fox,

Don't usually go to cr but will try to visit regularly to keep up to date. Alla's has severly slipped down hill lately.

For example, I created a new character, a zerker, the only advice I've found so far is "go to www.deleteme.org!" (This from EQ general chat) I've seen some information scattered around about 'em...

<shrug> Eqlive seems to have all the answers but I can't seem to pull information out of it with the search engine and simply cannot spend the time to read through the pages and pages of whines, repeat information, and chest thumping.... just to get a few tid-bits of information.

Thanks for your help though Fox, I'll definately be visiting CRgaming more often as I can.
