Hello all,

I love this site and used it religously back when I still was playing EQ. I learned all I ever needed to know about Troll Cultural blacksmithing right from these forums, even though it looks like cultural might not be around anymore since there aren't separate forums for it that I can see.

Anyhow, I have been sucked into the World of Warcraft now, and I am a blacksmith there as well. Since I found that there was unfortunately not a version of this site for WoW, I was wondering if anyone knows of a place out there that might be a good substitute? It is tough to find a forum with so many knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and devoted-to-their-craft people as can be found here.

I know this isn't EQ related, but if anyone has a good tradeskill site for WOW I would be thankful! Best of luck to you all!

I'm assuming you know about Thottbot but just in case:

I found that the people involved in playing WoW were not as... hmm... involved (read addicted) in their community as those in EQ. Also, it's so much easier to play and craft in WoW that a site with this depth and detail is probably not needed. WoW is also still young, their community might spring up after more time.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I guess it is pretty young still. I use Thottbot a lot, and it is good for just finding items and stuff, but no real community for the tradeskills from what I have seen. I will keep looking I suppose. Thanks again
