I think there should be some more Epic Bows for rangers, like epic weapons. I know that you have to run all over to make a Trueshot bow, but I Think that they should make some Epic Bows for us Rangers and Warriors

Dont think you should count on it ... with the recent epic 2.0s they most likely wont be changed for a very long time.

EDIT: Why ask this question on a tradeskill board ... try the ranger / warrior boards.

Don't ! There is not a big enough can to put all the worms back in if you start this up again. The original epic 1.5/2.0 WAS a bow. Raging controversey and flamefests resulted between the pro -bow vs pro-sword factions. Chaos reigned for weeks. Eventually the pro sword guys won the argument.But feelings still run high on the subject. The change from bow to sword is why the ranger epic did not get printed on the in game poster. Remnates of the bow quest still reside in game, how many swords did you ever see made in a fletching kit heh.

I am saying this because with epic weapons you have to travel all over the place to get your epic weapon, but with rangers, all we should have to do is talk to a ranger GM and find out the items we have to get to Make an EPIC bow. It would be just like epic weapons, but we would have to fletch it ourselves but have a certain fletching level like 300.

So all classes get 3 epic-class weapons (1.0, 1.5 and 2.0) INCLUDING Rangers....but Rangers should get "more" ?

There are some nice tradeskilled bows already from the Planes of Power era, if you want to argue that it's time for new bow recipes (other than the OoW "restringing" ones) though, go ahead.

No, an epic bow would be too much... but I do agree that there are very few quests that result in a Bow... I'd personally like to see at least 1 or 2 quested bows upgraded from what the Trueshot and Raincaller used to be...

Honestly, they've added a few quests for certain classes, even racial class quests (which were eventually tapered out to the other races).

I honestly don't see the harm in adding a few quests now and then... they have design teams making them all the time... Focusing on a decent quested bow doesn't seem all that horrible.

I am just saying that instead of an epic weapon in the next epic expansion, it should be a bow instead of a sword, like for the rangers, and if you would like to put it they should get "more" there should be a "more" for every class

And while Secone is not a moderator on this site, Secone is not totally wrong.

We will not stop you from having the conversation here, but this has so little to do with tradeskills, that you are not likley to have a productive conversation here, and are more likely to get one at the site sugested by Secone.

As that site is not afiliated with ours... there will be no actuall "move" of the post to there.

You also are not likely to get an answer to your question ehre, becasue again, it has little to do with tradeskills, and the devs that read these boards are concerned with well... tradeskills, and epics are not really anything they are involved in further than the small tradeskill portion each one seems to have, and that is problay only as far as someone coming to them and saying "take thes 4 parts, and have a recipie combine to make this thing, and make it really dificult combine"

If you want player opinion on why the did not make epic bows, you may get SOME opinion here, (note it would be OPINION, not fact based on anything) but you would get much more feedback from the sugested site.

We are not trying to chase you off, we are just trying to show you that basically, you will get better response from a site that actually has more to do with your topic.
