my father died early this morning and am still upset about it. wanted to vent but couldn't find anyone who would let me use them as a punching bag so i thought i'd get it out ehre. <eg> and no i didn't ahte nor unlove the man just wanted to get his goat one more time......

My condolences. Unfortunately, I've had the opportunity to find out over the last year that it isn't any easier to deal with the death of a family member if there was friction between the two of you. Last year about this time my uncle died and I was utterly heartbroken. A week ago my grandfather died, who I didn't really know very well but had met a few times.

As trite as it sounds, time really will help.
