Well, I finally took a break from PvP long enough to poke my head into the bazaar... and wow... I am ecstatic. 450 traders!!!! That is like 3 times the highest I remember seeing the bazaar before the merge. Lots of tradeskill goodies up for sale, and I snatched up enough for a few stacks of skill-ups (ooooh, the luxury of having the option of not farming things myself!). The best part is, many of the items I usually sell to fund it have either remained steady in price or gone up... so I should be raking in more pp just while there is greater availability of the things I want to buy. Lol, this just might be my favourite part of the merge. Just imagine... higher availability of components, higher demand of final product, higher sale price on final product. Wooohoo!!!!!

A few comparisons.... prior to the merge I sold Ceremonial Sostice Robes for 1kpp, now I sell them for 100pp... but, my steel-laced snake whips, which I used to sell at 100pp, seem to be centred around a 1kpp price now. Geerloks sell at half the price - collapsed containers sell at double the price. Bag tokens have gone down a little in price... most jewelry has gone up a little in price. Trean flies sell at half the price, but instead of there being one available, there are now ten available.

Anyone else around here on Zek checking things out?

Might as well ask this here since the PvP crowd will likely read this thread. There is something I have always wondered about the Zek servers, or server now ... do you lose experience when killed by another player there?

On Zek, you do not. Previously, it depended on your server. I played on SZ, and you did lose xp in a PvP death. However, we also had an xp bonus while xping, so its not so bad as it sounds.

Heh, actually... that was a great sign of a noob on our server. On SZ, you did not lose xp for a death in the arena, but you do lose it in a PvP death anywhere else. There were still players who would run out of the arena trying to escape losing their fight, only to wind up suffering an xp loss death two steps outside instead.
